I found this timber wolf pup having a sleep in the cool of the forest shade.  The photograph was taken with my Canon 7D Mark II camera and a Sigma 150-600 mm lens set at 400 mm. The shutter speed was 1/640 second, the aperture was set at f6.3 and the ISO was set at 1250.

Yesterday, in the woods off of Eagleson Road I found this young deer searching for food in the early spring.  This photograph was taken with my Canon 7D Mark II and a Sigma 150-600 mm lens set at 300 mm.  The shutter speed was set at 1/400 second, the aperture was set at f6.3 and the ISO was set at 250 in the early morning light.

Young Buck Deer in the Forest

Captured a young buck whitetail deer looking for food in the winter forest.  Like other wildlife, young deer spend allot of time searching in the winter woods for sometime to eat.  This photograph was taken with my Canon 7D Mark II camera and a Canon 400 mm lens.  The shutter speed was set to 1/400 second, the aperture was set to F6.3 and the ISO was to 2500.

Bucks in the Snow

Here are three photographs of whitetail buck deer standing in the snow in the forest.  They are all aware of my presence and are keeping a close eye on me.  These photographs where taken with my Canon 7D Mark II camera and a Sigma 150-600 mm lens set at 300 to 500 mm.  The shutter speed was set to 1/800 second, the aperture was set to F6.3 and the ISO ranged from 2500 to 4000 depending on the light available.  All shoots where taken early in the morning, just after sun rise.

Winter Buck 2

I found a new buck on Old Quarry trial today.  He was there with a number of other does and young deer.  This photography was taken with my Canon 7D Mark II camera and a 400 mm lens. The shutter speed was seat at 1/400 second, the aperture was set at F5.6 and the ISO was set at 2000 in the low morning light.

Two young white-tail deer in the winter forest.  Deer tend to gather is herds of 10 to 30 or more in the winter for protection and search for food in a group. This photograph was taken with a my Canon 7D Mark II camera and a 400 mm lens. The shutter speed was set at 1/160 second, the aperture was set at f6.3 and the ISO 800.
