Here is a young whitetail deer fawn standing and eating in the forest. This photograph was taken with my Canon 7D Mark II camera and a Sigma 150-600 mm lens set at 500 mm. The shutter speed was set at 1/320 second, the aperture was set at f6.3 and the ISO was set at 250.
I found this fawn grazing on the summer grasses on the side of the road near Almonte, Ontario. The fawn looked right me, than continue to eat the foliage ignoring my presence. As you can see by the photograph I was able to get very close to the fawn without distributing it. I took this photography with my Canon 7D camera and a 400 mm lens. My shutter speed was set to 1/800 second, the aperture was set at f5.6 and the ISO was set at 640.
