I was surprised to see a bald eagle soaring in the sky over the Rideau River near highway 416 last Friday. Bald eagles are usually found in more hilly terrain they like to sit high on a tree top over looking a large area of land or water. This eagle was circling over the river and diving down to catch fish.
This photograph was taken with my Canon 7D Mark II and a Sigma 150-600 mm set at 600 mm. The shutter speed was set to 1/1600 second, the aperture was set to f6.3 and the ISO was set to 160.
