Broad Shouldered Hawk

Here is a broad shouldered hawk perched high on a hydro wire in Algonquin Park.  This photograph was taken with my Canon 7D Mark II Camera and a Sigma 150-600 mm lens set at 470 mm.  The shutter speed was set to 1/800 second, the aperture was set to f6.3 and the ISO was set to 200.

Moose on a Beaver Dam

Here is a photograph of a moose crossing a beaver dam in Algonquin Park.  This photograph was taken with my Canon 7D Mark II camera and a Sigma 150-600 mm lens set at 600 mm.  The shutter speed was set to 1/800, the aperture was set to f8.0 and the ISO was set to 2000.

In the early morning, a calm is seen over the Lake of Two Rivers in Algonquin Park.  This photograph was taken with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS60 camera. The shutter speed was set at 1/200 second, the aperture was set at F5.0 and the ISO was set to 80.

Hey What's Up!

Here is a bull moose in Algonquin Park, just off highway 60.  As I took his photo he turned and seemed to say "Hey What's Up".  This photograph was taken with my Canon 7D Mark II camera and a Sigma 150-600 mm lens at 600mm.

A moose comes out of the ditch and starts to run directly towards a photographer.  Realizing what is happening, the photographer quickly gets up and out of the way.

Bull Moose in Motion!

Here is a bull moose in motion along highway 60 in Algonquin Park.  The spring snow melt brings out the moose to drink the salty water along the road.  This photograph was taken with my Canon 7D Mark II camera and a Sigma 150-600 mm lens set at 191 mm.  The shutter speed was set at 1/800 second, the aperture was set to f5.6 and the ISO was set to 500.

I just got back from a weekend at Algonquin Park, I have lots of photos to share. Here is the first moose of many peeking out from the trees.  This photo was taken with my Canon 7D Mark II camera and a Sigma 150-600 mm lens set at 150 mm.  The shutter speed was set to 1/800 second, the aperture was set at f5.0 and the ISO was set to 1000 for the low light.
