The two fawn find some fresh grass in the shade of the spruce trees. They quietly feed on the grasses, aware of my presence but undistributed they continue eat for several minutes in the same area. This shot was taken a rural area outside of Almonte, Ontario. I observed these fawns growing up over the summer and they became accustom to my presence allowing me to get a number of close photographs. This photograph was take with my Canon 7D camera and a 400 mm telephoto lens. The shutter speed was set to 1/800 second, aperture was at f5.6 and ISO set at 1000 due to the low light under the trees.
